Slotted Performace Brake rotors featuring our own Vari Racing ,”Voomerang ” slotting. Our Aussie take on the venerable race proven ” j” hook style slotting.
These Rotors Feature our own CNC milled , all Aussie take on the venerable race proven ” j” hook style slotting , in the form of our directional” Voomerang ” slots, machined inhouse at our Beaudesert Based Facilities , to locally sourced Heat Tempered Quality rotors , with attractive Black Rust Preventative Coating , that is automatically removed from the Pad swept area by the Pad during initial brake application but which remains on the remaining areas to offer long term rust prevention, and protection. We have tested these Rotors and our ” Voomerang ” slotting design on varius club level race cars over the years as well as some heavy duty Courier Fleet applications and have found them to be very resistant to warping and other Heat induced Problems, this is likely due to the Heat Tempering Performed by the disc manufacturer.
Infact ,whe have found these discs Performance Properties , very closely match some the properties emparted to our 2 Peice race rotors which have a Stress Relieving Heat treatment Performed to them specifically designed to relieve any internal stresses that cause both Stress Cracks and warping during High heat cycling conditons seen at the race track.
So while these disks will never offer the outright performance advantage of a high end 2 Piece rotor with Directional internal Venting , and full race slotting , they
do at least offer a very cost effective way to add a heat treated , thermally resistant and stable rotor , with some Performance derived Slotting to degass your Pads , and in so doing offer some serious improvement over a stock OEM Rotor with no slotting .
