We aim to supplying first and foremost the Australian aftermarket and in the coming years some international markets with truly Passionately driven , high quality brake solutions for those passionate about performance.
Vari Racing Australia (Pty) ltd is a true blue high performance Brake Solutions manufacturing Company. We CNC machine all our Components In house where ever possible and use locally supplied/ European Sourced 6061/T6 Aluminum Billet on all our Calipers. Our one Piece Rotor kits make use of Australian Companies Rotors which we Finish in house to our exacting Specs.
Vari Racing Australia (Pty) ltd was started and is wholly owned by Cesare Peila and his wife Angela Peila and was established upon their recent immigration to the Sunny Shores of Queensland in 2013/2014.
The Vari Racing Brakes “Brand” was established locally some time in the course of 2011 after having supplied the local racing and hot rod markets for some 5 years under the “GT Racing” brand with customized brake solutions through our trusted and well established distribution and kits development partner BHSS/TBS of Capalaba QLD.
The Vari Branding was settled upon ,firstly out of the practical stocking and manufacturing challenges posed to Bottero Engineering, (Cesares and Angela’s South African Based CNC Automotive Engineering and Components supply Company), which arose from double stocking the same Calipers with different branding, and secondly out of the agreed upon decision between Bottero and Vari Racing (South Africa) to concentrate on the Growth of the Vari Racing name as an international Brand.
To this end “GT Racing ” brake packages become “Vari Race Brakes”, behind which our Australian Distributor threw themselves whole heartedly . Much effort was made by all at both Bottero Eng and BHSS/TBS to re-growing the reputation of high end Quality race Brake solutions which had been started on with “GT Racing” , this included a concerted effort by BHSS/TBS as well as Bottero Engineering to completely Restock supplies with the VARI branded product ,and the establishment of a registered Australian Company (VARI Racing Australia) .Extensive efforts to educate our existing Australian Clients of the Rebranding and its inconsequential effect on the level of service from both our product and its support team was under taken .
Unfortunately, the long time successful and very rewarding partnership that had grown the Vari Racing Brand from a little known brake guy making hard to get Rotors for old cars into one of only two very respected Suppliers of Performance Brake solutions to its original South African market did not survive the immigration of its manufacturer and co-designers (Bottero Eng) to Australia.
At this point the Business decision was made, both out of respect for Bottero Engineering`s single minded Brand Growing efforts over 12 years and our local Australians financial and product stocking investments, to move forward with the original VARI RACE BRAKES branding and draw as much as possible from the efforts put into the building of the brand over the past 12 plus years, and as much as possible differentiate ourselves from our previous South African based business partner and customer in a more organic and natural manner as our products continue down their respectively very separate development paths.
